Materiality Mapping

Materiality mapping enables us as a company to identify, prioritize and monitor the most salient sustainability issues around environmental, social and governance (ESG). During the ongoing financial year, we explored the most pressing ESG issues perceived by our management and all our stakeholders including the investors, employees, customers, lenders, suppliers, industry bodies and regulators. We used this inputs along with the industry benchmarking and materiality studies pertinent to Rupa’s business to identify the final set of material topics.

This comprehensive exercise resulted in the confirmation of all ESG topics that holds relevance and material to our business objectives, industry priorities and stakeholder perceptions. These material topics are a mirror to our way of conducting business which in turns creates value for all our stakeholders.
